Since I'm all for great sizzling summer golfing deals in the desert (it's a DRY heat, people, it's fine!), I recently wrote about one of my favorite properties in the Coachella Valley, the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert. This place is an absolute monstrous oasis of pools, tennis, shopping, spa-ing, eating and, most importantly, golfing. The two Ted Robinson courses make for the best I've felt on a golf course probably ever.
There's even parrots in the lobby, near the gondola that takes guests around the waterways and drops off at restaurants along the way. You don't even have to walk here!
Read all about it at GolfCalifornia.com, part of the WorldGolf.com family powered by the Golf Channel! There's also a story on Industry Hills Golf Club's Ike Course I did a couple weeks ago.
